An excellent beginning. The last section on recruitment of men seemed a bit weak. Recruiting young men to serve kids does not need to be difficult. Twenty-somethings are searching for places to plug in, especially if not married. They need to feel they are participating in, not merely attending, the church. They’ll find that serving in “kidmin” is an awesome opportunity to make disciples as well as experience growth in discipleship. Young men may be looking for a calling, so address his own heart, not just his mind. Being closer in age will especially help older children identify with a young man who serves as a friendly older brother figure.
