Through the first six volumes of The Gospel Project’s study plan, we have followed the story of God’s promise to rescue the world from sin—the promise of a Rescuer, a King, who would come to restore His people.
For generations, God’s people waited for the promise to be fulfilled through exile, restoration, and silence. In The Gospel Project: Jesus the Messiah, the whole church will see how God’s plan was fulfilled and the promised Rescuer was revealed when He spoke to a young woman named Mary.
She would have a Son. He was the One God’s people waited for. His name was Jesus. And He would change everything.
See How the Hope of Redemption Spreads
Beginning this spring, and continuing through the next six volumes, we will see how hope spreads from person to person and into the entire world as we study:
- How Jesus came into the world and prepared for ministry (Volume 7)
- His ministry as a healer, teacher, and miracle-worker (Volume 8)
- His journey to the cross and His return from the grave (Volume 9)
- How Jesus built His church (Volume 10)
- How the Church was united in the mission to spread the gospel (Volume 11)
- The future hope of Christ’s Kingdom (Volume 12)
Through every passage, we’re studying the New Testament to see how the hope of redemption—the gospel itself—spreads and inspires us to live on mission as we wait for Jesus to return.
