Christians have always been at the forefront of protecting human life and dignity.
From the moment the church began, Christians demonstrated a concern for the poor among them, sharing all they had to ensure that all needs were met (Acts 2:42). The Apostle Paul continually challenged Christians to out-give one another in their care for the poor among them. For centuries, Christians have continually demonstrated concern for the most vulnerable among us, working to protect the rights of the unborn, defend the lives of the infirm, and provide care for those in need.
Today, we have a unique opportunity to give a voice to the vulnerable among us—the unborn, infirm, impoverished, and aged—and show Christ’s love to those who are hurting. To speak the truth in a compassionate way to those around us. To appeal to our political representatives for change. To show practical care to women who have had or are considering an abortion, loving the elderly, and assisting the needy.
We want to help you equip your groups to do that well.
That’s why we’ve developed a number of special sessions of The Gospel Project to supplement your study as we approach Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. These sessions are our gift to you as you equip your groups to know to the value of human life and defend and love the most vulnerable among us.
